It’s impossible for me to get sick of this show as I would be fine watching Yune clean and eat for an entire season. In this week six show, we get more of the Alice whirlwind and what would appear to be the stirrings of a past, and maybe future, Camille & Claude pairing.

Alice heads to Galerie once more to abduct little Yune. This time she wants to bring the Japanese doll home for some dress up time and photo taking. Yune gets the thumbs up from big boss man, but she herself insists on finishing her housework. She does so with Alice watching. You ever need to finish something and have someone looking for your shoulder like that?
Finally it’s girl time as the two head back to the Blanche mansion. Alice shares her photo album before the two play dress up–Yune tries on a kimono, Alice tries on a Kimono and finally Yune wears Alice’s stupid late 19th century get up and they, along with Camille, go get their photo taken. That was a mouthful.

I’m not going to take a screenshot of Yune in western dress. It’s dumb and unattractive. After posing for the photo, Claude meets up with Yune and they head home and that’s pretty much the bulk of the show this week.
I liked it when Yune wanted to go with Alice and she gave Claude those big ole’ doe eyes. How could anyone say no to those? This episode also had me asking myself whether I am possibly racist, because all the white people continue to look exactly the same. When Claude reflects upon Camille (towards the end), I was thinking how them getting together would be slightly strange as they look like brother and sister.
Maybe that’s more of a problem with the character design than me being racist. Character development wise, a Claude and Camille relationship would be great. Upper crust opium addicted girl with a not so well-to-do sweaty shop owner, sounds like a good recipe for a story arc to me!

I’m sick of Alice. She’s annoying, rude and doesn’t seem to learn any lessons. I want to body slam her. I hate that she’s been the main driving force of any plot this far. Although next week looks pretty good. Yune can be seen offering the blonde street scamp some food. Interesting.
I did like the further introduction of Camille’s character. Her statement about “being trapped in a birdcage” and it “preventing you [her] from reaching toward what you desire,” was the deepest thing on the show yet. She’s obviously being bred for high society, a rich gal with a large dowry could easily be married off to some royal or noble jack ass.
I know I said I wouldn't, but I did.
This is why she turned to opium. I’m kidding and realize they won’t bring up her deadly addiction. I’m kidding and know she’s not (probably) an addict. Maybe she’s just lethargic because she’s going through the steady paces of how she thinks she should live her life. Check.
And…maybe her and Claude were childhood friends and she was told to stay away by her family. And…by “preventing you [her] from reaching toward what you desire,” she’s referring to Claude’s giant baguette. Just a thought.
